I love the size and picture quality of this monitor. It is a replacement for my old dell 15" monitor which recently died. I also love the fact that it has a nice sturdy base. It was simple to put together and hook up. Thanks Dell for another great product.

I bought this monitor because the reviews were good. It had no dead pixels when I turned it on. I should have done my research though before plunking down the money on this. First off the resolution is OKAY. You will want a higher resolution, and you can get sub $200 lcd's with higher resolutions and more screen realestate if you shop around. Also, the refresh rate is not all that great. I prefer a higher refresh rate, as I get headaches from lower refresh rates, and this monitor is locked in at a lower refresh rate. The colors were good on this monitor and it looked nice, but after a few months of use it started to get a washed-out look. Then one of my kids hit it with a Nerf dart and it broke part of the panel. I feel this thing was cheaply made, though it does have a solid feel to it when you set it up. The base does not swivel, but I this didn't really bother me at all. Basically, I figured since this was a Dell brand I'd spend the extra money and get a well-built monitor. Instead I got a over-priced monitor, cheaply made monitor. If you are a person looking to buy this monitor, I recommend continuing your search. You can get off brand monitors at better prices that have more features that are built just the same. Just because it's Dell doesn't mean it's great. This is NOT that great of a deal.

I purchased the 19" Dell Monitor because I already had a Dell Computer. The fact that it was the most inexpensive of all the 19" monitors was just a plus. It is my first WIDE screen, and that takes a little getting used to, but I love it. It is crystal clear and comes on way faster than my old CRT. Thank you!

Checked monitors in Walmart for price and warranty. Dell was the only one that had a three year warranty. All the others had one year. Color and clarity are excellent. Also checked hdmi and vga and this has both. A big plus if my pc goes down and I have to hook up to my old pc.

Great product, I have windows vista and was able to plug and play but was very dissapointed when I found out the speakers weren't built in. My last monitor was an HP and they were built in so I guess I got spoiled and expected them all to be that way. on the up side the resolution's great!
