We tried the Remington razor similar to this one. It was terrible. This Norelco is 100% better.

Strange electric shaver,

Well, I bought this model two days ago. I charged it for the recommended amount of time. The green light was blinking. All systems were Go!
Then I hit the power button to turn on the shaver.
I heard something. Not real sure what it was. But, it was definitely coming from the shaver. It certainly didn't sound like the chainsaw noise my old Braun made.
So, I'm thinking, I just bought a piece of junk. The thing wasn't hardly making any noise. To me no noise means no power. No power means no shave.
Just for fun I put the shaver to my day old beard, and moved it up and down my face, in the same spot, just once. My whiskers were gone. How the heck did that just happen?
Was it a fluke? I put this whisper quiet shaver on the other side of my face. I moved the shaver up and down, in the same spot, on this other side of my face. I looked in the mirror. Whiskers were gone.
I shaved my entire day old growth in about 1/4 the time it used to take me with my old Braun. The shave was smooth. No irritation. And, I could swear the thing was acting like it was about to run out of juice.
This has got to be the quietest shaver on the planet. And, it still got the job done.

I bought this razor at Walmart about a week ago and I LOVE IT! I've always used a manual razor and cream, and I'm done with that. This razor is Hassle free and I've found that it works best in the hot shower when your poors are open. I just put hand soap on my face and I'm done in about 1-2 mins. Plus you can run it under the water when your done. Great deal and can def see this thing lasting a long time.

I previously owned a higher level of norelco for over ten years. It finally died on me, so I began to shop for a replacement. I'm on a budget so didn't want to spend a lot of money on a razor. I looked online and in the stores and found 7310 at both Target and Walmart. I was amazed to see Target selling the same exact razor for $20 more compared to the Walmart price. That made the decission easy to buy it at Walmart.
I have used the razor once so far (just purchased yesterday) and it cut as well as my higher level razor did. I like the fact that you can clean it under the tap water.
I'm not a review writer, but felt compelled to write considering the lower price I found at Walmart compared to Target for the same item, and the fact that this lower priced razor works just as good as my higher end norelco perfomed.

This shaver has dual voltage for US and Europe. It automatically switches. No need to touch any buttons. It's lightweight and has the same performance as more expensive three head models. There is no shaver holder, but who cares? At this price, you have a real bargain.

I have used electric razors as long as I have been shaving. This is my third Norelco. The shave I get is better then the others I have used. If you are switching to an electric after using blades you need to allow some time to allow your face to adjust to an electric razor. Some of the other reviews I read stated that the person had problems with the shave he was getting. It says in the owners manual the previous sentence I put in about getting used to it.

I've used Norelco electric razors for a number of years. My old Norelco rotary razor finally broke after many years of use and I was hesitant about paying a lot for a new one. (The old one was a top-of-the-line model.) This razor caught my eye. It looked just like my old model except was clearly made from a cheaper plastic. I decided to take a risk and bought it. I am very happy with it. The shave is closer than my old Norelco and this razor is super quiet and very easy to clean. The battery does take a full eight hours to charge but lasts a solid week. If you can live with the longer charge time this is a terrific razor.

I have used Norelco razors for years. This new model fits beautifully in my hand. It is the quietest Norelco I've ever had. It shaves beautifully and the washable feature is a great innovation. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my vacation home and travel. Excellent value, great price! The only drawback of Norelco razors is that when the battery dies, you can't change it without soldering in a new one which generally costs about a s much as a replacement razor.

I purchased a Panasonic Electric Razor (ES8077) at Xmas 2007. At the time it was one of the highest rated razors on the market. The expensive self-cleaning recharger failed 1 year and 3 months after purchase. This Norelco shaver beats the Panasonic hands down for quality of shave and the associated costs of new heads. I have never been much of a fan for electric razors but I must say this Norelco gives a real close shave without the nicks and cuts that come from manual shaving. The best part is that the cost was only 1/3 of the cost of the Panasonic.

I dont normally write product reviews because seldom do they warrant my time. However, this is the BEST electric shaver I have ever owned. I replaced a broken Braun with this shaver and wasnt really expecting much. I was never really happy with the Braun, but thought it no better or worse than anything else. Boy, was I surprised. This Norelco is the best I have ever owned. The closest shave, easy to clean, and so quiet I had to check it several times to make sure it was still working. It was so quiet, I recharged it for an extra 2 hours, because it didint seem right, but it was.

i love it, it's very easy to use, waterproof, and the closeness of the shave is incredible, i'd used other razors about the same price as this and this is by far the best for that price.I charge the battery for 8 hours and it lasts me a week and a half. OH, if your skin gets a lil' bet irritared or it pulls your hair, just use a little of soap or shampoo, till your skin assimilates the razor. Hope it helps.

I purchased this razor as a replacement for anther brand that kept breaking the foils. It was too expensive to keep using. When I received this razor, it felt like a light weight toy in my hand compared to my old razor BUT it out performed my old razor by a long shot! It is also MUCH quieter and works when corded which my old one did not. I used it 17 days straight before needing a recharge, which is 3 times longer than my old brand too. In case you are wondering, my old brand was a Remington. FIVE STARS for Philips/Norelco!

I bought this razor to replace my 10+ year old Norelco that I used until it died. Though it had mixed reviews, I couldn't pass up the great price on this new model (which was about 25% of the cost of my old razor without adjusting for inflation). It's lighter weight, quieter running, and shaves closer than my old Norelco. And, the Walmart online experience was every bit as good as the other online retailers I've used. So far, I'm very pleased!
