I purchased these in Sept 09. I love them. They are heavy black metal. A bit of a hand rubbed look to them. They look like wrought iron. Once hung, they look just as expensive, or possibly more expensive, then then larger rods my M-I-L purchased at JCP for about $85 or more per rod. I got my large one on clearence, and the smaller one was only $15 at the time. I have the large and shorter sizes. I have a beachy them going, and the "knot" fits right in. I hung them higher than the window, and just as the design shows say, it heightened the room instantly. looks 2 feet taller. I do not think you will be disappointed by the quality. Worth every penny and then some.

I am very happy with the quality of these rods! I purchased 5 for my cabin's great room. They are very solid with the capacity to hold heavy curtain panels. I was pleased with the rustic iron look of them and the price absolutely can not be beat! I have looked all over retail stores and the internet and these are by far the BEST DEAL going! Walmart does stock them in their store so I was able to see them before I purchased them online. They did not have enough of them, that is why I did the online order. The Site to Store ship is free and they came several days early. Bottom line: Very pleased!

These rods are very nice. I purchased heavy insulated curtains for two sets of sliding glass doors and these rods are sturdy enough to hold them and they adjust so they are long enough also. They are easy to install and look very nice.

This is a great price for this curtain rod. I needed one to extend 96 inches and they are hard to find and very expensive. The rod is very sturdy and good weight. The finials are a little rough finished but they are 7 feet off the floor so not likely to be at eye level. Very good deal.

I love these rods. Every component is metal - no plastic finial like other rods I've seen. I bought them to go throughout my living, dining and entry ways. They hang beautifully, are a snap to install, and look great. My only caveat is that if you need them to go the max distance in width, be careful as they do tend to seem loose and sag slightly. I bought the 120" rod for my 110" space and it hangs well but when I tried to go 115-118", the rod wiggled up and down slightly. I do love that the rod is thicker than most - it gives it more weight and looks more elegant. Overall, I love these and highly recommend them.

This rod is great for a patio window as the joint ends up right in the center so curtains or curtain rings don't catch on an overlapping section. The rod is nice and sturdy. Good value.
