These curtain rods are substantial and beautiful. I put up 3 in my great room, and am pleased with the dark, warm color and with the sturdiness. I would have liked matching clip rings to be available. For those who are unsure of what metal finish to choose, this one is a good choice.

We don't think that the right parts came with this so we had to make some adjustments but we made it work - another use for duct tape!
DO NOT like that fact that when you go to pull drapes back the curtain rod moves - not cool.

There are 2 "low rated" reviews like this, before I purchased this 66-120 set I figured, it was probably a manufacturer's mistake in shipping the "telescoping" middle part too the other reviewers...but they were not wrong!!
The "middle" piece has one end that is not hollow (like it should be) and therefore, you CANNOT join the second set of the rods for FULL extension...I wonder, did Canopy expect the a "sealed" middle extension too magically join these rods together..by some consumer spell or potion??
DO NOT buy this product, especially if you need extension for "wall-to-wall" coverage!
You have been so advised...for the 3rd time!!

These rods are wonderful - so heavy and really well designed for the price range (or any price range). Exceedingly happy with the look, the substance, and the general all around Walmart experience of placing orders and receiving them in records time. I would recommend two people working together to measure and mount the brackets and rods in the right spot - they are a little cumbersome for one person working alone.

Purchased this in the shorter length and the 120 length. The longest rod comes with center support Both rods came with hardware of excellent quality.
Purchased in store-packaging of rods was excellent, with finals packed well to prevent damage.
Color of rod is dark bronze, with lighter rubbed bronze finish on finials.

As many reviewers here I was ready to return this rod because I couldn't put it together with the extension.... my husband then figured it out... you put the thinner piece in the middle (when you want to use the bigger extension)... the way they package it is confusing. Other than that, they are beautiful and they look more expensive than they are.

I purchased this curtain rod online with free shipping to the store. It was one of the few curtain rods I found that extended so far. My son's window is about 83 inches wide. I really wasn't wanting to put a center brace up (more holes to drill, more holes in the trim). So I was looking for a rod that was very long even at its minimum length. This was the perfect rod for us.
First, the appearance. This is a gorgeous deep brown/bronze color. It looks fabulous with the cherry bedroom furniture and the dark red walls. We are also planning to buy another one for my daughter's room, which has sage green walls and is very light. This rod will be so pretty with her cherry bedroom furniture. The end pieces are very pretty too, perfect for any room, even a little boy's room!
Second, workmanship and function. This rod is very heavy. It is about an inch in diameter, if not a bit more. We have the Eclipse blackout curtains (3 of them) hanging on this one rod over an 83-inch wide window and do not even need the center support brace. It has 3 rods, one for each side, and then a sliding center rod for your extension. We did not need to extend the rod for our window, so we just placed the extension rod in the middle of the other two rods for extra support, which is why we don't need the center brace.
I do not think anyone would be disappointed with this curtain rod. It is beautiful, heavy duty, and would hold up any curtain if it can hold up 3 very thick, very heavy lined blackout curtains across an 83-inch wide window without a center brace.
