I bought this computer monintor for my husband for Christmas this year. I had never heard of the brand name before, so Iwas a little nervous when making the purchase but figured that if it didn't live up to our expectations, I could always exchange it.
My husband opened the monitor and began using it about 2 weeks ago, and he is very pleased with it. The one thing that we ran into is that it is a widescreen monitor so adjustments had to be made to the screen settings. That was not a big deal.

If you've never used a wide-screen monitor for any length of time before, be prepared for a significantly different experience. I discovered very quickly that I don't like widescreens BUT the clarity, sharpness and performance of this widescreen is excellent.

So far, so good. The product has worked well for me. The screen is clear and has nice color. I bought it for my rather old laptop, which has now become a desktop because its screen is fairly unreliable. The monitor has a VGA input, which works for my computer. If I upgrade to a newer computer, I think it should still work, but I'll probably have to get an adaptor. Nice monitor overall and definitely an upgrade from my big fat CRT monitor.

So far, I love this monitor. I needed something that would handle the day to day desktop publishing, but also allow me to work in and explore Second Life. So far, I'm very proud of my choice!
At first, I balked at spending another $160+ on a monitor after just spending about $1500 on a gaming/multimedia computer, but after looking around, I realized that Wal-mart actually had the best price on a screen this size (and Acer at that).
It was an easy setup and its the perfect size for my limited amount of space.

THIS oops caps, this is a great monitor, great on power usage, it maxes out @ only 45w, 5ms response time, great for games recommend this to anyone who lookin for a great 19' widescreen

I have only had the monitor for a couple of weeks. Initially i thought since I used many applications for work the wide screen would be nice. It doesn't really make a difference as far as my ability to view multiple documents, I still have to size them. I am coming off a 21 inch flat screen (big box) and the resolution on this monitor does not seem to be quite as good, close, but not exactly. My last LDC monitor did not last more than a year, so we will see how this one does.

This is really a nice monitor. Very sharp and precise image. I found it very easy to set up. I think the price is reasonable. It is so much easier to read the print than my old crt.
