The product does what it claims to do, allow you to pick up hot things. It seems to be well made and should be durable.
But, it's a lot bulkier than it appears on tv and this may make it difficult to grasp smaller items.

This glove has 2 uses, Hot and Cold. Works great against heat, excellent in fact and against cold. I live where it get 20 below, put a pair under a larger size glove than you normally wear and they triple to protection (unless they get wet). I own 4 pair for this reason, 2 for cooking because my wife has me pour of big pots of boiling water!

The glove protects the whole hand from heat and the rubberized strips keep objects from slipping. I only wish it came 2 to a package. Have to buy 2 if want one for each hand. I bought one last year and the second one now.

I love my Ove Gloves. This is the second and third one that I have owned. They haved saved me from burning myself on my big oven door countless times.
The price seems high but I purchased a knock-off and it just didn't measure up to the brand name. For someone that cooks, this is a necessity.

I thoroughly enjoy using the Ove Glove in my daily cooking. I am amazed at the absolute insulating protection from the hot surfaces I handle from the oven or stovetop. Be careful when using with boiling substances as the steam goes right through and watch that other hand. I recommend a second Ove Glove when the cook gets really busy moving hot pots and platters around! I would like to see a "2-for" offer at a reduced price offer from the manufacturer to promote safe use of the product.

It works great! I knew it wasn't for use in a steamy situation, but for "dry heat" it does a terrific job. I'm able to pick up and move hot items easily--so much better than a traditional oven mitt.
