I've only had this product for a couple of weeks, but lets face it...It's Sony so you have to know it's good quality. It has a suprisingly great picture and is small and lightweight. When I read the reviews before I bought it they said there was no power button on the machine which didn't make sense to me. When I got it took a few seconds, but sure enough there it was on the machine and the remote. I take it to work with me and use it at home when the kid wants to watch a different movie in the same room with mommy and daddy. I can't wait to really test out the battery life on our five hour plane trip in September. Thank goodness for technology.

my boys love the DVD player. the only thing i dont really care for is you can only turn off the player with the remote. other then that, its a great product so far. and its a Sony. how could you go wrong?! It helps me when i want to watch a program on TV and the boys want to watch something completely different.. i can just put on a movie and we are all happy!!

I spend a lot of time traveling by plane. The DVD player was purchased as a diversion for boring flights. The Sony is easy to operate and provides a clear picture with very good sound. The battery lasts longer than most models - twice as long as many. It is a quality product at a fair price.

I was looking for a dvd player with a bit bigger screen but I purchased this on based on it's great reviews. I got it for my 18 month old for a plane trip to Disney World and to keep him occupied in restaurants. I was a little worried about the volume level because I knew that he wasn't going to keep earphones on this young. Although, I found earphones to fit him - the volume on this is excellent. It goes quite loud. My nephew has one with a bigger screen and always ends up watching this with my son because the picture is much better and they can both hear it without earphones. The charge last a long time, I will go days without charging it and pull it out in a restaurant and it still has a full charge. All around excellent product.

We purchased this product because it takes us 1 1/2 hours just to get to a Walmart, so this helps in keeping our 2 1/2 year old from going stir crazy on the long trips we have to take. It meets and exceedes our expectations. Would recommend this highly! Great picture, good price, good product. Just wish it came with the attachment for the car, or had one to recommend to go with it.

After owning a Sony I would never buy an off brand dvd player again. I have two kids and was getting ready for a long trip when I bought this player. I love the portable battery pack and the fact that when you turn the movie off and turn it on again, it continues where you left off. The two things I dislike are the placement of the "on" button and when the lid is closed it doesn't turn off by itself. I also hoped it would have come with a case or a mount for the car. Spend the extra and you'll have a product that will outlast the others. You get what you pay for!

I think this is a great product, my two and a half year old daughter knows how to operate it and enjoyed it on our last five hour flight. The batteries are great (they truly last six hours, maybe more). I recommend this DVD player, the cost is affordable and it even looks smooth and nice. Great Picture, Swivel is great, kids have dropped it a million times and it keeps on ticking. Headphones keep the car quiet when traveling, no fights with this around. Only problem is battery life is only about 4 hours.

I was very pleased with the solid feel and great picture of the Sony. Using a pair of low-cost sound deadening headphones, we found that the volume was more than adequate to be heard above the din of the jet engines on an airplane. Another reason I chose this product is that my 4-1/2 year grandson has had an older version for about 2 years and it was still working perfectly when we visited this Christmas.

This was a gift for my son for Christmas and it works great. The picture quality is awsome and I have no complaints. It comes with a remote and you can set parental guides on it. The battery lasts for a real long time I haven't checked the actual time. It has arrow keys so you can play the games that come with certain kids DVD's which I think is great.

I bought this for my 13 year old son & we not been disappointed. He used it right out of the box and needed no help to get it up and running. It works well, and we haven't had any problems. The only downside is that you have to use the remote control to turn it on.
