I ordered this desk via Site-to-Store for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas as a gift from "Ho Ho" I couldn't be more pleased. As soon as my son saw the desk he immediately wanted to sit down and paint. He sits at the desk at least twice a day to color or draw. I love the fact that the desk cleans up easily. I haven't had any problems getting any of the Crayola washable products to clean off completely. After he is done coloring or painting I just wipe the everything down with a wet washcloth and it all wipes up very nicely. Which is important to me since I want the desk to last, and it sits in my dining room. Great Job Step Two! I am so glad I didn't purchase a cheaper Art Easel.

My 5 year old LOVES this art desk. She finally has a place to do her "arting" besides the kitchen table (which I love!) Before we bought it I was worried that she would outgrow it pretty soon, but I think this will still be good for her for a few years. My 18-month old is a little small for it but probably in a few months he can use it too. It is very sturdy, easy to organize and access, lots of storage, great white board surface, and easy to clean. Assembly was ok but you'll definitely want to have a drill handy. The screw holes are marked but not drilled through the plastic. Overall great product!

I dont usually write reviews but I had to write one for this desk. It has exceeded our expectations. Santa brought this to my almost 3 year old daughter, along with all the art supplies you would need. My daughter does not go a day without using her desk. It was very easy to handle and put together. It is a bit bigger then I thought it was, but I did not even bother looking at the measurements. It still fits in the spot we wanted it to be in. It has a good amount of storage for supplies. The only problem we found is that the stool slides around very easily on our wood floors. My husband just got some non-slip things to put on the legs of the stool.

Even though this was my second pick for an art table/desk, it has meet the qualifications I wanted as far as a workspace for my 3-year-old son. The instructions were easy to read, and the produst was easy to assemble. The only problem is that there was no designated area for the light to be attached to, so I eye-balled it. There is plenty of storage space for paper and media materials, such as pens, markers, crayons, pencils, construction paper, glue, and safety scissors. My son has hardly left the work-center since it was unwrapped (having two people to wrap the box is very helpful), and has even asked for his lunch to be served there, instead of at his regular table. If it weren't for the incline of the desktop, I would allow him to eat where he "works," but, overall, I am extremely happy with this product. I can foresee my son's artisitic abilities and self-expression expanding during the future spring and summer months until he enters pre-k. Then, he can transition easily to his artwork when finished with his schoolwork. I highly recommend this product.

Love this desk so far...got it for my 3 year old daughter for x-mas. Definently put it in the living room so I could watch her, but she sits at it every day doing something different. Love all the storage for supplies and books. I have already recommended this to a couple of other mom's.

My 4 year old loves this desk. Plenty of storage for all sorts of things, books, pens, markers, papers, ect. She can use this up until she is 6 or 7 or maybe older. For the price you get a sturdy desk, a stool, and a desk light that attaches to the desk. Love it!

we gave this desk to our 2 year old son for christmas, and when he saw it he didn't want anything to do with the rest of his presents! he love to sit and color and has all his tools within reach, and he really loves to turn the light on and off! this was a great buy and very durable!!

I ordered late and my one and only grandchild lives in another state. I was nervous it would not get there in time for christmas so I had it shipped to the store near where she lives.
It arrived in time and it was a BIG hit. She is 26 months old and I have a picture of her asleep at her desk after a hard day of play.

My three year old granddaughter loves this desk! It is just right for her size and has nice storage compartments for art supplies. She especially loves the light and insists on leaving it on even when she is not at the desk. It was pretty easy to put together and is quite sturdy.

We love it! I had my grandparents get it for my daughter for Christmas. I put it together myself within half an hour. My 4 yr old daughter started putting her things in it right away. She plays at her desk every day - coloring, play-doh, etc. It is just the right size for her. Holds all of her things, and still has room for more stuff. She uses the little light it comes with, but we also have a large table lamp above it for extra light at night. It is very durable, so our son will be able to use it when he's old enough too.

I like this product because of all the storage space it has. Perfect for my child to do school work and gives her a place to create things at her level versus sitting at the dining room table. Only thing I would change is to have a chair instead of a stool.

This is a good desk, but doen't own up to the Little Tikes desk we have for my other granddaughter. Lacks storage under desk top- a drawer would work well there. Stool does not allow for growth. Compartments should also be deeper. She loves it but when you have two to compare, it doesn't meet up to the other!

I purchased the Step2 Art Master Desk for our 3yr.old granddaughter. It should serve her until the 2nd grade. It was simple to put together, durable construction and provides a place to locate all of her "art" products. I would recommend this product for anyone with a preschool child.
