I bought this light for the 115 lumens & size. it is very bright & the beam reachs alot futher then i would have thought. it would also be effective as a defense light to shine in the eyes to cause temporary blindness. I carry it all the time in my front pocket & often forget it's there...very compact. I'm not a big guy either(5' 8" & 165lbs.) My oringal purpose for this light was to light up the path to my truck in the morning leaving for work. I find that i use it for more than just that since i `1always have it on me.

Review 2 for Coleman Cree XLamp XR-E LED Flashlight, 2 CR2

A great little light..., 05/14/2009

I have quite a flashlight collection....despite my wife’s objections! I have costly Surefire FLs I paid in excess of $100 for and other quality "tactical" FLs. I saw this one in the Wal-Mart aisle and thought I'd give it a try. WOW! Was I impressed. For $25 it is EXTREMELY bright (in case you don't know, 115 lumens will temp blind you if you blip yourself in the eye with the beam) This is a great tool for the glove box, or daily carry in your pocket. VERY small and light weight. Only down side is unusual batteries. But they can be located cheaply on-line for $1 each. Good for CCW holders for target ID. Just a thought. Buy this light with confidence...cause easysixonezero says so! Cheers!

I just bought this light yesterday thinking that it looked cool. being a flashlight collector I had to get it. It was only 24.88 so I thought why not. on the package it said that the total luminous output was 115 lumens which is pretty bright, looking at it I was a little scepticle but after I had purchased it and put in the cr2 lithium batteries and turned it on I was amazingly suprised at its brightness it was 115 lumens because it was extremely bright this is defanetly a great product

The perfect flashlight, 11/29/2008

I am a professional home inspector by trade and I am extremely busy averaging 60 inspections a month and I needed to loose the old standard huge million candle power Qbeam type light. It's hard to climb a ladder to look into an attic with digitail camera, infrared camera and a big light. I bought 2 surefire sixty dollar lights and man were they bright, but very expensive. I lost those two somewhere. I saw these lights at WalMart for $25, so I bought one and compared it with every light that I had in my trucks and tool bags and it was the brightest of them all. It fits in you back pocket, shirt pocket and in your mouth. My work is so much easier and faster, I went back and bought 6 more for standby. The original flashight needs batteries finally after 3 months. You should buy at least 2 of these maybe 3.

i didnt really believe such a puny flashlight
could put out 115 lumens of light. owning some
inova lights with great output i was skeptical, but
the design looked good and the pricing was crazy.
i had to give it a shot. took it to work and "wow", this new LED technology really put my much larger lights to shame. bright and solid where ever you aim. i would definately recommend these flashlights to anyone.
