This dvd player seems to be pretty good. I like the swivel screen. It goes all the way around and you can move it forward or back. The on/off button is kind of weird but I guess it is ok. Overall, it seems pretty good. Clear picture.

We purchased this DVD to entertain our 2 yr. old granddaughter while we went on a trip. It was worth every penny. She did not need headphones as the volume was plenty. The picture and swivel screen were great. We don't know how we would have survived the airports and plane without it. It kept a very active little girl occupied.

This is a great unit thus far. I only have one problem with it and that is the volume level without headphones. When utilizing the headphones it is awsome. Without them the sound is much to low for my taste. The battery life is pretty good. I can watch 2 movies before I have to recharge.

Everything we expected it to be! Great picture & features, easy to use, perfect size & very portable. Rechargeable battery good for at least 5 hours(at least 2 movies), and player can be used while connected to A/C adaptor while charging. Remote is very handy, although adding volume control to the remote would make it perfect. Very pleased with the unit overall. Would definitely recommend!

The only downfall to this player is the volume sometimes not loud enough. All the positive: Folds flat so you can put it on the back of the seat. Remote works when the player is on hold. The show resumes where it left off. Over all we are very happy!!!!!

Although this DVD player looks really nice and has a great picture, I didn't think that the sound was very loud and the battery falls off really easily if you pick up the DVD player from the front.

My daughter is 2 years old and having a little trouble traveling in the car (via temper tantrum)......so I purchased this product for 2 reasons .....our car rides & my 6 hour trip to California to visit my family. If anyone is concerned about the battery life, I have to give that a thumbs up........this DVD player lasted the entire trip without a flicker. (my daughter wouldnt let it out of her lap/held it the entire way) The only small problem I have had with it.......is that I bought a portable DVD player case so I could strap it in the car & when you set this player in the case.........the screen doesnt really SNAP into place, so if we hit a bump, the screen tends to lean forward and I have to straighten it up. (probably does that since its a swivel screen set up and it needs to be flexible) Other than that...........I would buy this product again for sure!

This was purchased for my 4 year old grandson. I have not seen it as it was shipped directly to him. My daughter was very impressed with the battery life, the larger screen and the flexible, rotating screen which she says can be laid over the controls thus hidding them from curious little fingers. This turned out to be the perfect dvd player for us and I felt after looking at many different models was a fair price.

I brought this for my husband as a gift. He loved it from day one! He is a movie buff so he uses it everyday. I truly beleive that after much shopping around this product is fantastically priced. Awesome picture, slender, removable battery to make it lighter and slimmer. Just a great product. The battery life is more like 5 hours max, not 6 hours, but still one of the longest battery lifes out there.

I am MORE than thrilled with my new Sony. It is compact but big enough for good viewing. It is light weight and shows a beautiful picture. I bought this little 8 1/2 inch Sony portable DVD player after having a cheap player quit working only after using it three times. The quality of this little unit is wonderful. Great picture, and great sound. I have not used the battery pack to it, but it fits on snug and looks like it would be good for camping if you wish. I am very happy with the quality of this product, and the price was very good for a Sony 8 inch wide screen dvd player. It is perfect for my idea of using it at work when I have down time. I am very pleased with it.

I purchased this for my 21 month old, and we love it! The pivotal screen turns easily, the battery lasts a long time, and it is very durable!( considering my daughter carries it around the house and has dropped it quite often!) This is a nice dvd player, very sleak and light but the speakers aren't loud enough. I use this for the kids in the car and you can hardly hear over the sound of the car much less a plane ride unless you use earphones. Purchased a polaroid and speakers are great.

This is the second portable DVD player I've owned. The picture is very sharp and the player is very easy to operate. The sound is about average for portable DVD players; using the earphones I had from my old one makes a huge difference in the quality of the sound, so I'd recommend getting earphones for full enjoyment. I'll be using my new DVD player on my next camping trip and will update my review as to the use length of the battery, charging using the car adapter, etc. But, so far, so good!
