I bought this vacuum after our Kenmore canister vac died. I wanted an upright after tiring of dealing the bulk and weight of the canister vac - I vacuum nearly every day.
I was impressed with the power of this cheap-looking machine. Don't let looks fool you! I was astounded at the amount of dirt, hair, etc. that it picked up on the first use. I guess that canister vac was overrated!
The power cord could stand to be a bit longer and it would be nice if the vacuum didn't look like Playskool toy. Other than that, it's great! I definitely recommend this item!

This little powerhouse vacuum is worth its weight in gold. It vacuums my persian rugs and floors with ease. I am 57 and have hardwood and tile floors and scattered area rugs. Works great!!!!! and I have owned the best. I am so glad I purchased this item. It is lightweight and plastic but dont let that fool you. It is easy to empty cup. The hose detaches if you need to pick up something or vacuum the car. Thanks Hoover!!!!!!! I will buy again if needed. Well worth the price.

I love this vacuum. It is super powerful for its size, it practically pulls itself across my rug. I love the features it is so easy to use, nothing complicated at all. The size is perfect as well, it fits in the small broom closet in my apartment. Suction is unbelievable I've used a Dyson before and this tiny little thing has better suction!! As for the cord length, It's just as long if not longer than my old dirt devil, so no complaints there. It's great quality,will probably get a few years out of it... Very much worth the $56!!!! ..

Originally we bought if for the price and compact size when we were traveling in our RV, we have since stopped RVing and I use it in our second home and it works better than many full size vacuums I have used in the past. It is amazing. The suction and the amount of debris it picks up is shocking every time. You will not be sorry if you purchase this product. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. The bag-less system is the best part since I am always buying bags for my other vacuum. And I have owned mine for 2 years and it is still going strong!

Great for a few months then about 6 months after I got it it slowly started going downhill. Not sucking things up as well. Now at the 1yr date it has completley quit working. The little that it does suck up, it spits it back out when i turn the vacuum off....I recommend the shark navigator vacuum.. More expensive but you get what you pay for.

Ordered online Friday had it by the next Wednsday. Very pleased with it. Picks up as well as my large upright. At first I wondered because it was so small. But better than the bigger ones. Fits in everywhere my big vaccum wouldnt with the same amps as the big one. Emptying container is even better because the bottom drops right over the trash. Unlike the bigger one that seems get alot of dust around when I pour it out over the trash. The Nano would be a perfect gift for a dorm room. Its also alot easier to store because it doesnt take up much room in the closet. The handle length is adjustable. Great product.

My previous Hoover upright broke down after 8 loyal years of service... got Dirt Devil - stopped sucking after 5 or 6 uses, returned it. Got this one and couldn't be happier. This vacuum is small but maneurable and gets to the tight spaces. It is powerful and sucks dust no worse than my previous Hoover. I like the fact that I can switch from carpet to hard floor and can change to a brush easily. The best feature of this vacuum is its light weight - no problem carrying it upstairs. I only would want it to have a filter to throw away after use: I don't want to see the dirt through the window... For this price and the purpose of merely sucking dust, I think this is the best vacuum on the market. Way to go, Hoover!

i bought the nano after i read reviews myself, but you are not as always that lucky to get a good product just because some people say it's good. this vacuum cleans everything!!! my husband replastered our whole upstairs so you can imagine the dust and powder and everything else....it not only went through all that but also all our pet's hair. we have two cats upstairs and everytime i use it, i'm surprised how much it picks up. this is the smallest most powerful machine i've ever used. i would recommend this to anyone..ie the elderly for it's lightweight handling. i had seen problems with the cord length previously posted, but i didn't find this to be a problem. yes i had to move the plug a couple times but with what other vacuum dont you have to? this product sails over my expectations!!!

This little Hoover is better than my similar dirtdevil product. It is powerful enough for regular duty. The filter works perfectly so you will never smell dirt. The dirt tray is easy to empty without trashing your hand. The only thing that I found need to prove is the brush. It could be stronger. Overall, it is very handy and efficient.

This is the second Nanolite I have owned. I LOVE it!! The suction is great and it is not so heavy that it is difficult to take up and down stairs. I would use this over any higher priced vacuum cleaner. The only thing I would change would be to make the hose a little longer, other than that I wouldn't change a thing!! GREAT PRODUCT!!

I am very disappointed with this vacuum. I have three kids and when they come home from school their shoes have sand in them and it gets all over the carpet, the vacuum has such a poor suction that it just holds the sand under the agitator brush roll, it does not suction it into the dirt cup, the same with carpet freshner.
I empty out the dirt cup right before I vacuum just to see if that would make a difference and it just doesn't work. I will be returning this vacuum today.
Maybe I just got a bad one, since all the other reviews are good. Who knows.

Fantastic vacuum on carpet. Gets pet hair up when no other will. Very sad on hard floors. Doesn't work at all. No suction. In fact if the vacuum is too vertical, the front exhaust (silly place to put it) merely blows the dirt away, which may fool some people into thinking it's working if they don't look too closely. So for the low price, I can stand a carpet-only vacuum.

I purchased this vacuum b/c of the other reviews on this site. I'm pregnant, and it is getting difficult to lug our very heavy Kirby up and down the stairs. I just bought this vacuum after my Rainbow died after 14 years !!! I had done some research and wanted to buy a Hoover since they are so highly recommended. I have to admit I was hesitant with this due to the price and the appearance but it got good reviews. I have to say, a "snap" to put together and I was pleasantly surprised when I started vacuuming my house! It is alot sturdier then it appears and the SUCTION....WOW...it pulls the carpet nap "back up" (we have berber carpet) and the dirt was incredible !!! My rainbow had died a long time ago I think and just was not aware of it. Very easy to clean too with the filter in it..comes with a brush also. You will be very happy with this purchase and the price to go with it !!!

This lightweight sturdy little vacuum is great i was very suprised at how well it works. I bought this 9 months ago while temporarly living out of state in a 500sq foot apartment just to have a vacuum. I never thought id be so happy with it or come to rely on it as much as i have since moving into a 900sq foot house and getting a basset hound. Its a dream machine with the dog hair and my dogs breed is a constant shedder. It even picks up the finest of dirt and dust in the carpets and on our pergo floors and is small enough to fit in almost any space without needing to move much furniture. The only thing i would change is the hose. I wish it was longer and had a better attachment to use on the couch kinda like the paw attachment on a Eureka. I use this vacuum once a week and the suction is just as good as the day we bought it and its a snap to clean. This vacuum is easy to use, very light, compact enough to store pretty much anywhere, very quiet, and worth every penny.
I usually check reviews on everything before putting hard earned money down on it and i did it for this vacuum as well. At the time the reviews were better than other vacuums but still mixed so im very happy to see how many people have stepped up since and added a great review for this little dream machine.
