I
bought this camera for a shark cage diving trip since I couldn't afford
underwater housing for my SLR. I was amazed at how well this camera
performed for being a point & shoot and for being so small. It took
amazing underwater photos and video. The floating wrist strap was a
great bonus. The dials & buttons even though small were easy to use
underwater, allowing me to switch from photos to video quickly.
I was disappointed in the battery. It went dead on me pretty quickly.
Although I would guess most people wouldn't have it constantly turned
on like I did. I had issues with getting my photos off the XD card
after the diving trip. The camera kept telling me to clean the card. I
did this and still got the same message. I was told probably what
happened was that the battery went dead while i was taking a photo and
it froze up the XD card. I had to use a Recovery Program to retrieve
all the photos that were on the XD card. I'm so thankful the recovery
program worked, otherwise I would have lost hundreds of photos and
video clips of my amazing shark diving trip.
