Mainstays Desk with bookcase

I purchased the desk combo and thought that it was a good deal. I also purchased 2 bookcases that didn't come with the desk but matched in color. The desk was very easy to assemble and so were the bookcases. The desk was larger than I expected which was an added bonus. The only negative comment for me and my needs were that the desk did not have any private storage which prompted me to purchase bins to accomodate. This was a great buy and a very good looking desk!!!

This was easy to assemble and looks great. Very stylish. My only complaint is I wish the top shelf over the desk area was a bit higher. You can't fit much under it. Great for a student or someone with limited space.

I bought this two years ago. I like it. The sliding keyboard thing messed up within the first 6 months but I believe I was mostly to blame on that (the bottom part of the track bent downwards) The top has wore greatly due to activity at the desk (water damage from drinks shows very easily). Since I've upgraded my computer and gotten a lighter monitor the left side has lost some of its stability, kinda wobbly now otherwise I'm happy with it. Nothing at all to complain about the bookcase tho!

This product works great in my small room gives me plenty of work space and still enough space to move around in my bedroom

This is a great desk and bookshelf for the money. My problem with it though is that a few of the boards were peeling at the corners or dented. I didn't want to return it for a new one as the defects were toward the back and I taped them with electrical tape.

I purchased this when on sale for $59.99 and it looks great and makes a perfect workstation. It was easy to assemble although I used some of my own tools as some parts are hard to manuever with the little tool they send with it.
Overall it looks really nice and with the matching bookshelf it has a perfect fit almost anywhere.
If you are looking for a good sturdy, yet inexpensive desk this is it.

for 60 dollars, this is a great product! its clutter free and it comes with a book case, which i use as a dvd/videogame case, as well as my videogame consoles. i like the fact that i can see throughout my desk. there isnt any solid "walls" on there. its black and grey, it looks sleek. unfortunately, i dont think walmart has this in stock anymore. this is the best desk ive ever owned.

Mainstays had easy to follow instructions for the assembly process & the wood products are pre-
drilled with pilot-holes that made it easy to put to-
gether. The different sizes of screws are clearly
seperated & marked which sure helped.
It looks great & is comfortable to use. The full-sized office chair that I have, fits easily under the keyboard shelf. The matching book-case is nice also especially when you use book-ends

Nice desk for the price. A little high for desk heighth but will do. First desk top came damaged and had to be exchanged. Walmart associates were very helpful in helping me get just the desk top exchanged.
