the straw mat worked well for me during a camping trip. i used it to line half of my tent so i was not directly on the ground with only the tent floor between me and the mud. I also have used it for pickniking and it serves well in that aspect also.

I love how light weight this is and how easy it is to tote around since it folds and velcros together with handles. I would highly recommend this product, it is a great value!
