This was to replace a bed that I bought at Ikea less than a year ago for my 14 year old son. It is so much more solid! Box was small and light, fit in the trunk of my car with no problems. Put it together in under 10 minutes. The only way I could see to improve on it would to be to have a way to store the brackets to make it a full size bed. It is not a major thing, but being able to store the extra parts with the bed itself would be helpful.

The base was easy to assemble - I'd suggest having a towel or gloves on to fully tighten the wing-nuts. It isn't very attractive, being a drab brown-black metal frame, but it's easy to conceal with a bed-skirt. I would suggest putting a cheap foam pad between the frame and the bed-skirt to keep the skirt from slipping. It's sturdy and functional. The height is perfect, and a few boxes can fit comfortably under it.

The box it is packaged in is a managable size; it can fit into any car. No tools needed to put it together; everything went smoothly and it is very sturdy. You can't put a lot of boxes under it because it has 12 legs, but I have 2 tall boxes with extra pillows, sheets, and blankets and 3 smaller boxes with about a dozen pairs of shoes under the bed. It really helps when you have small closets. I'm so glad that I bought this.

We bought two of these - one for each of our children... it was much more cost effective than paying for two box springs AND two bed frames. I chose this one because the reviews were so good, and I am so glad I did! We had these out of the box and set up in just minutes with NO tools! After putting the mattresses on them we tried them out and were very impressed with how comfortable they were. Our kids love them and there is lots of room to store stuff underneath the beds now. And we have the option of turning them into full size beds later when the kids get bigger! GREAT product for a GREAT price. Very sturdy!! Oh, and with the free site to store shipping I saved almost $20! :)

I bought this bed frame for my 4 year old when he was ready to move out of the toddler bed. I wanted to save money and a frame and boxspring would have cost double this. It arrived site to store. It was pretty easy to set up and once I had the mattress on top of it it was great. Lot's of storage underneath. I saw some of the other reviews about it being kind of ugly so I was prepared with a bed skirt and you can't even tell it's not a traditional frame and box spring. It is very sturdy and I am glad I purchased this. No hesitations about recommending it.

Let's start out by saying that my husband and I together weigh in around 650 lbs. Also, our mattress is one of those big, huge, thick, HEAVY pillowtop deals that two people can't even pick up. We have been through more than one bed frame as you can imagine. I was always uneasy laying in bed wondering if this turn or that turn would mean hitting the floor. We have been through two in the last couple of years. I was looking at having to buy an expensive platform bed when I ran across this product. It says it will hold 1200 lbs!
We have a king size bed so I looked at the queen/king version. After reading the specifications on both, I made several calculations (which I won't bore you with) I decided to buy two of the single frames insead of the one king.
Shipping Site to Store for free was a money saver in itself. Set up was a breeze. Quick, fast, and easy.
We connected the two frames together with plastic tie strips (easy to find just about anywhere) to keep them from seperating. After we wrestled the mattress on the frame, you could still see the frame on the sides (this was a possibility considering I chose the twins over the king). After another quick calculation, we took the mattress off, turned the frames sideways, and WHALA, perfection!
Now the only drawback to this position is your storage area runs long ways instead of sideways. So we just store items we don't need on a regular basis in the far back.
I'm sure you are wondering why all this trouble? Because honey, you could drive a truck up on that bed and it ain't going nowhere, lol. We jump around, move around, play, sit on the sides, have the kids wrestling with us and NO MORE FEAR!
Very sturdy and economical! Every night I get into bed, I smile, knowing I can relax and enjoy my rest. I will be buying more for both of my children's rooms.
Just to let all of you concerned people know, my children are of healthy weight and I go to great lengths to ensure they maintain a healthy eating lifestyle.

This product was out of the box and assembled in about 20 minutes flat. I loved that there were absolutely no tools required. I had a new mattress but my boxspring broke. I priced new boxsprings and found that they were about $200. This item is an exceptional value and definitely serves it's purpose. It's very sturdy and I love that it lifts the mattress so far off of the floor that I have a good deal of under bed storage. Obviously it's a bed frame so it's not exactly a designer item, but if you add a dust ruffle, it looks just like a normal bed. Definitely a steal at this price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I'm what you would call "big and tall". I'm 6'6" and ... well lets just say large, I need a big strong bedframe that can hold a lot of weight and provide a very firm base for my bed. This frame provides both for my bed, and as an added bonus for me, at 14 inches it is a little higher than normal beds which is great for a tall guy, and provides extra storage space underneath the bed. all around this thing is amazing for the price, compared to what else is being sold out there its a good product and took a relatively small amount of time to assemble.

I liked this frame so much, I'll be buying another one. It's perfect for a child's room. When the child move from a twin to a full-size bed, there is no need to buy another frame or even a box spring. The value is great especially if you take advantage of the site-to-store shipping. As a bonus, this product was so easy to assemble, I had it put together in under 10 minutes!

We already had a mattress and headboard, so I began the search for a sturdy and affordable frame. I was happy to learn this frame acts as a box spring, so I saved $150 by buying this frame! I set it up in 30 minutes and only needed pliers to tighten wing nuts. It is very very sturdy yet still allows for bounce in the mattress. It sits higher than I expected, but I love the change! It definitely needs a bed skirt of some kind. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer!

I waited a few months to write this review so that we could take time to really test this item. I bought this for my 16 year old son, along with the Slumber 1 9" iCoil mattress. The frame was SO simple to assemble, took only a few minutes and it's sturdy. Just like others have said, it's high enough to store things under which is one of the reasons why I talked my son into this idea instead of a platform bed. It's also much lighter, easier to move and easier to disassemble. I don't think there were any tools required because it came with wing nuts. I'm definitely pleased with this product, have recommended it and would buy another if needed.

The frame is worth what you pay for it. It's easy to set up, I did it all by myself. There isn't a lot of tools required just a wrench to tighten some screws. The only down side is that one of the legs squeaks every time I move while I'm trying to sleep and I can't figure out what's wrong with it.

I recently received my bed frame and I love it. I needed something that would not require a box spring because I have difficulty getting a box springs up stairs. THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. And it was a lot higher than I expected. I find it is nice and sturdy being it has 12 legs. It also did not take long to put it together, which is a plus in my book.
