Itzbeen Itzbeen Baby Care Timer
The Itzbeen Baby Care Timer is a multi-purpose tool that helps new parents remember, learn, and communicate the basic details of baby care. It is an essential baby care product that signals the parents to attend their baby for its needs. This baby care timer includes 4 buttons, each for changing, feeding, sleeping, and one customizable button. This Itzbeen timer allows you to set an alarm for each timer, which alarms you with a button light and audio alarm when the time limit exceeds. The one-touch timer lets you know how long it had been after you last medication. You can easily read the timings even in the dark as this baby care timer features a display backlight. The alarm keeps beeping the information for seven minutes and put offs automatically.

This is a great item. With daily life going on (Toddler, house, husband, cooking) Theres no need to remember anything with this gadget. it takes the guessing & figuring out of feeding time, sleep time, & diaper changes. Theres also an extra button timer that i use for me. since i had a c-section i use this extra timer for taking my pain meds. It works great in the middle of the night for diaper changes. I use the light & clip it to my shirt to change diapers in the middle of the night. The light is bright enough to see dirty diapers @ 3am. i am also breast feeding so the breast feeding button is a plus!
Only issue is I didn't have the sleep button with the (zzz)'s on it. It was another (*). i will be taking this to grandmas when baby sitting time comes around, just to help out. The lock bottom on the side blocks my toddler from resetting the timer.

No packing protection what so ever

This was purchased as a shower gift and I have no idea if it will even work when the new mommy needs it. It was just put into a thin plastic bag for delivery. I'm sure it was thrown around in transit with no protection. I was really afraid to even give it to her, but it was on her registry and I had no time to purchase another one. This order also included a set of receiving blankets that were sent in another shipment and they were put into a padded mailer for delivery. They did not need protection, I wish they had used that mailer on the timer instead. Very poor judgement in the shipping department.

When I registered for this product I thought it might have been a tadbit ridiculous. But it was my first baby and I figured every little bit would help. I would have been LOST without this especially in the first 2 months of my daughters life. I really tried to use all the buttons but when it came down to it the only ones I really needed and ended up using/relying on were the diaper change & feeding button. I breastfed so it was nice to have the L & R thing on the bottom to remember which breast to use next, otherwise I would have been lost. Because the first 2 weeks at home I didn't get ANY sleep so I was very forgetful and at some points delusional lol. Like I said this thing was amazing! Only reason I didn't rate everything at a 5 was because AFTER 3 MONTHS it just STOPPED WORKING out of the blue for no reason known. At least I had it when I needed it the most. Although it broke I'm hoping it was because I got a faulty one & therefore WILL BE PURCHASING ANOTHER ONE FOR THE NEXT BABY. As a mother I take reviews very seriously before purchasing something so I hope this helped :)

This is the greatest idea ever. It helps keep track of everything without having to write it down somewhere or try and remember when you're running on empty of no sleep. Helps my hubby help me because everything is right there in plain view. Has a "lock" on the side so you can't hit a button by accident. Also, great to show the nurses (when in the hospital) just how long it has been for each thing. Simplicity and super user friendly. Definitely a must have!

I bought this at the recommendation of my sister who received hers from a friend. I noticed it didn't leave her side from the moment her baby was born a month ago.
My friend loved how it works as it is perfect for those late-night feedings, how long it has been between diaper changes, etc. She was using her cell phone in the first few days and this really became valuable to her within the first 24 hours. I got text messages within the week about how great it was for an impromptu trip across two states to see friends and family as she didn't have to worry about where her cell phone was in unfamiliar places because this was kept with the baby all the time and helped remind them when the memory (sleep deprived?) lacked.
The night light feature and clip were especially helpful. I hope you enjoy it as much as she did!

This little gadget is so incredibly helpful when it comes to tracking your little one's feeding times. I didn't really use the other functions (tracking diapers and sleep times) but so I would know it had been 3 hours since his last feeding - this thing is priceless. Some people say "but why not just use an app on your cell phone" but your cell phone travels with you - this stays with the baby. So basically I can take a nap or leave the house and my husband still knows when the baby needs to be fed and can easily click the button to time. Also, the notch at the bottom to track either left breast or right is very helpful as well. You may think that you won't forget, but trust me, you will - you're sleep deprived and have about a million new things on your mind. Let the Itzbeen help you remember!

I found this timer very helpful when my son was a newborn. There was no guesses when the last time the baby was fed or changed. Whenever my husband would ask how long he had been sleeping I could just look over and tell him. Now that my son is 4 months the only time I use it is when I give him medicine so I know when I need to give it again. It worked great for what I wanted it for.

I bought this a couple years ago and it has been a life saver for both of my little girls. I am a nursing mother so the slide makes it so much easier to remember which side to start each feeding with. I used the extra timers for keeping up with my medications in the first weeks after they were born. Time passes so differently when there is a new baby in the house and this makes sure you are aware of diaper changes and feedings. So many times I think it hasn't been very long since I changed or fed my little one only to look at the Itzbeen and see it has been a couple hours. It is also very helpful when there are multiple people taking care of baby, especially at night. You don't have to wake up the other person to ask how long it has been since the baby has been fed, you can just look at the display. The night lighting on the display it wonderful so you aren't turning on lights and waking up everyone further and the flashlight is bright enough to be helpful in diaper changes and looking for items but not so bright as to wake your baby. Highly recommend, especially as a shower gift.

This thing is way smaller than i thought. Its like a small cell phone size which is great i can take it with me easily and it has a belt clip on the back. Its going to take a lil getting used to functioning this thing. Im just going to hold onto the instructions for now til i know how to use all the features easily. Its a handy timer to have, i def suggest it!

Wow, I LOVE this baby care timer!! I've been using it for 2 weeks now for my newborn son. I registered for this item thinking it would be helpful keeping track of feedings/changings as a first time mom. It now rates as one of the top 5 items I use daily, that's including the most used item...diapers! I read mixed reviews of people saying "what would you need something like this for" but still had to see for myself. One of the timer's BEST features is the flashlight and clip on the back. I clip the timer on my nightgown and turn the light on to make my way thru the house for late night feedings, keeping my hands free. There's no question as to when the last change or feeding was. I highly recommend this item!!

Must have for any mom whether your a first time mom or an old pro! Time can slip away from you, and this really helps keep feeds and diaper changes on track! Used it religiously for the first 6months with my 1st daughter and have been even more appreciative of it with my 2nd child now!

I got this as a late gift for a new mother who was a stickler about details and became utterly confused about feeding times and changing her new little bundle of joy. She complained that she could never remember to watch the clock and figure all of this times up in order so I took the initiative and looked online for a timer of some kind and this little thing popped up! I was so excited about all the different times it records I immediately ordered it through the site-to-store feature! Now the new mommy is absolutely excited with this gift and uses it so often that she even has back-up batteries for it now! She claims that even when her little cutie gets older, she can use it as a multi-cooking timer! The Dad wants to steal it and use it as a battery timer for his RC cars. So in any case, this item is hot and can be used for a LONG time!

My son is 20 months old now and we STILL use the itzbeen! I would probably even say that I've probably even become a little OCD about using it too. It was super, super helpful when my little one was real young because you are so tired you don't even remember your name, muchless when you last changed your baby or fed them. :) I am a very frugle person and initially I thought it might be a waste of money. If I wouldn't have received it as a gift I was going to put everything on paper. (Ha...everyone, including me knew that wasn't going to work. ;) I love this so much that I buy it for a baby shower gifts too.
