Regular dusting and vacuuming may clear out all the dust and dirt that you can see but often they fail to clear out molds and other allergens that emit an odor in your living spaces. Clearly, just maintaining your home neat and tidy does not keep allergens and odors at bay. Designed to suit the Oreck XL 2000, 8000, and 9000 series of vacuum cleaners, the Arm & Hammer Odor Eliminating Vacuum Bags help you eliminate dust mites, molds and allergens at large. These Oreck XL vacuum bags are intended for use in vacuum cleaners that do not have a docking station. The odor-eliminating bags contain particles of baking soda that serve to neutralize the chemicals that usually give off an unpleasant smell. As the air enters the vacuum cleaner bag, the baking soda particles act on the odor-causing chemicals to make the surrounding air allergen-free. Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner bags retain all the allergens and debris that your cleaner collects to provide odor-free, fresh air.

I've bought the regular bags from Oreck.These are cheaper and seem to be better.I don't know how durable but they look strong.I have pets and the bags smell fresh and you don't have to add a refresher pellet to the bag as you do with the oreck brand bag.

I read the reviews on these bags first and one review in paticular helped me decide to try these. He said that the bags left no fresh scent which he was expecting but then realized that there was no oder at all! Thats what I wanted! After vacuming my dog hair up my vacume continued to smell awful no matter what I did (carpet fresheners, fresh tablets...). Well, these bags are wonderful. I can vacume now with no dog smell at all. There truly is no oder. This is a great product. My vacume doesn't even smell in the closet.

The Orek store where I usually bought replacement bags moved to a distant location, so I was thrilled to find that WalMart had this product available for online purchase. Plus, there was an extra bag included in each 3-pack as a bonus, so I'm a VERY happy camper!

The product had the words Odor Eliminator on the bag. At first I was expecting a fragrance when I used my vacuum, but after a few uses, I realized I smelled nothing. Which, in previous uses, I always smelled that "dirty/dusty" smell, you know what I'm talking about, right???? I am pleasantly surprised with this purchase. Wish my local store would carry them, though. Had to order them on line. Which, honestly, wasn't too bad, I guess. Make sure you keep some in stock!!! I will continue ordering these bags. Thanks, Wal-Mart!!!!
