42 inch is better picture quality than the 46

when we received this product a few of the pixels were out, they were showing up hot pink. walmart returned it hassel free and we received a new one which had no flaws. when shopping for the tv we really liked the picture quality of the poloroid compared to the other tvs but we were only able to look at the 42 inch since the 46 inch is only available online. I think going bigger changed the picture quality. it does not seem to be as good as the 42 inch as far as sharpness and color quality. all in all we are happy but wished we would not have seen the other one to be able to compare!

Who better to make TVs? Polaroid is know for their extraordinary cameras and now they offer us a wonderful television. I hate to say it but it beat the SONY hands down.... great picture, sound and look. Don't hesitate - for the price buy two like I have! ! This is my second 46 inch Polaroid and I LOVE it!!

I thought this was a good deal, But it only worked one week. wall mart was pretty good about returning it. but it still took me three hours, and I had to go to two driffrent stors. and borower a truck from a friend. big hassle.

Product came by truck in good shape. Set up was very easy and the picture quality is really good. I am connected to my HD cable and HDMI 1080p upconvert progressive scan DVD player (39.00)! HD channels look excellent as does the DVD picture! Great bargain online for sure! Its only been a few weeks but I am enjoying it immensely!

If your looking for a nice size screen, then this is it, but the quality is not great at all. You can see the fuzziness all through the screen. We purchased two of them and the view is awful. We even purchased the HDTV signal and got the expensive HDMI gold cables and the picture quality did not change. We are returning both televisons today. The $788 wasn't such a deal after all.

For $788 this redefines value for a 46" full fledged 1080p LCD HDTV. NOTE - after the one year manufacturer warranty there are NO repair options from Polaroid. Make sure to get a Wal-Mart extended warranty for sure! For the money the picture quality and sound are great. There is one dead pixel at the top left/center of the screen, Polaroid tells me that it has to have more than 7 dead pixels to be returned, or one dead pixel in the center of the screen,...but it’s ok to me. I am exceptionally pleased with this due to the cost factor, and scrutinize and have very high standards.....

I looked in store at several tvs before looking online. I was really wanting a 1080p in a 46" or bigger but the price was more than I wanted to pay. I found this online and decided to order it and give it a try. I love it!!! I'm so glad I found it online (not sold in stores) Delivery was fast. Set up very easy. Great picture and sound. Great price!! VERY pleased with it.

I received my LCD last night and hung it right on the wall. Wonderful picture. Using Dish Network HD programming, the picture is great. I plan on purchasing another for different room in the house. Now that I have seen the picture and quality of the product, I'm sold. The price of this unit was awesome. Only recommendation to Wal-Mart would be to put it on Site to Store for free delivery.

I am so impressed by this product. If you have reservations....don't! It has a wonderful picture and the price was outstanding. In store a 42 inch was ten dollars more. This Polaroid brand stands up to any of the others in my opinion. Mine was short the owners manual, however I called and they told me how to get one online, so I downloaded it and burned it to a cd for future use, which worked better for me.

I do not recommend for anyone to buy this product at all. I had 2 went out on me in a little over a year and could not get it fixed. TV repair shops says that they cannot get parts for this particular brand. I called polaroid manufacturing and the only thing they are willing to do is for me to ship it to them then for me to buy it as a refubished. Which means, by the time I spend money on shipping and what they want to sell it back to me, I'll be better off buying a brand new one. Please do not waste your money on this product, buy sony, samsung, phillips or magnovox NOT Polaroid.

We bought a LCD Polaroid two years ago and had problems with it. The on/off switch stopped working and the display started greying. The extended warrant insurer is sending us a new VIzio to replace it. I definitely would not by another Polaroid.
