This high definition model features a tuner that can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC) and the new digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV programming, where available. An HDMI connection, VGA input, and a variety of other inputs make it simple to connect a digital camera, game console, DVD player, and even a computer. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than that of a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

I bought this for the bedroom. Not a Sony Bravia, but for the price it has a great picture. I ordered Site-to-Store on the Walmart website to save shipping and it worked out great. It was easy to hookup to cable and go through the menu to set up.

I have this 19" TV in my kitchen for about 2 weeks and am very pleased.
I tried two others previously (Vizio & Sylvania), from two different stores, and returned both. Though the picture quality was generally good, they both had a very "tinny" sound. I felt I was listening to a speakerphone. They had sound adjust in the menu, but it could not be improved.
I then decided to read some reviews, and this Sansui model was showing up as having good sound, and available at WalMart. I figured I'd try one last time. If it didn't turn out right, then I'd quit and stay with the old set.
I did not strike out. I made the right choice. I would not hesitate to recommend this TV.

This TV has as good a picture and sound quality from the built in speakers as those sets costing hundreds of dollars more. Set up using S-video cables and stereo cables was a snap. The on screen menu had me up and running in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this Sansui Television set.

I purchased this model mainly for the deal on purchase price being that it was a replacement tv for my children's room. I was pleased to find the picture ans sound quality were better than expected on an "off" brand and overall am very satifsfied with this product. The only disappointment I have is that the control buttons for the tv are located at the top behind the screen, which makes it inaccessible to my 5 & 3 yr olds... basically I have to assist any time they need to change channel or adjust volume.

I wanted a 19" TV that wasn't too tall to replace a 14" CRT in my kitchen. This is the best I found, and the price was right at $210. My main complaint is there is no viewing angle looking up at the TV. This is standard on 19" LCD's, though. When looking up at the picture when the TV is just above your head, the picture looks like a photo negative. Alot of TV's in kitchens are placed higher up. There is no adjustment for a downward tilt to the screen. I have it slightly shimmed down now, but will mount it to a bracket with more adjustment. Again, it's not just this brand of TV with this problem. I have not seen a 19" that does not have this issue. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and would buy it again.

This is a great television. I like the sleep option because it is in my bedroom. The picture quality is very nice. It is light and wall mountable. I have HD programming and the HD stations look beautiful on this 19" screen. The television can be plugged into a computer to use as a monitor but since I have a laptop, I do no intend to use this for that purpose. The television is easy to set up and even works great with a cheap antenna which I tested before hooking up the HD from Dish network. You must change modes from antenna to cable as with all televisions though. I would recommend this television to anyone looking for a good 19" HD television. The price was very right too.

Bought This on Black Friday Special. For what I Paid for the unit, I shouldn't kick. Was disapointed that there was no ear phone connector and the unit does not tilt.Two features that I was really interested in. The item specificatios could use some inprovements so there are no disapointments after driving 80 miles fot the unit. Both sound and picture were of high quality. If you don't need a ear phone hook connector or want a tilt screen, I would highly recommend this unit. I will keep the unit only because it was cheap, but will buy a another unit , paying closer attention to detail

I really like this TV. Very nice looking on pedestal stand. Great picture. I would have given it 5 stars overall but for 2 things: The sound loses a star because it comes from the back of the set, so not as "vibrant" as some more expensive models. And the features loses a star because even tho it has a sleep timer, which is good, my old TV had a "wake-up" timer that I used to use as a backup alarm clock, but this TV doesn't have that feature. Other than that, I love this Sansui!
