Please note: This is my first surround receiver. After finally getting it all hooked up with the Yamaha 5.1 speaker system I bought at this site...I am blown away by the sound of this unit!
I still have alot of tweaking to play with! So many adjustments to play with... The only thing I cannot find are Bass and Treble controlls, but so far I have not needed them. Sounds perfect the way it is! First impression is beyond 5 stars!

The reciever was good, but lacked enough power to push the speakers that I had. It is a good value for your buck and Walmart is the cheapest place to buy it.

A very good receiver for the price. I have a Bose Surround Sound system and I get very good sound from the TV and CD. I do not have Blue Ray so I do not have a need for a higher priced receiver to get HD Sound. I get great sound from this receiver.

It works very well for our home theater. We needed an amp with digital inputs to make our system work. I added a small amp to power our sub woofer and everything sounds very good.

I had just bought another product 6 months ago and it wasn't worth a can of beans. I saw this Pioneer and because of the price Walmart was selling it for, I decided to take a chance. Best buy I ever made. Easy hook-up, great surround sound choices, and gave my speakers their true potential. I recommend this model.

This is a very nice reciever the only draw back being the lack of HDMI switching. This should and will become standard but this reciever lacks ir but the sounf and functionality of the reciever are great.

A few years back, during a storm, the power went out and when it came on my tv worked but not the sound. I then hooked it up through my stereo system, but with age, the receiver went out. Being extremely hard of hearing, I chose to wear wireless headphones. But any friend that came over could not hear the sound. I ordered this receiver and had friends come and hook it up for me. They were able to hook up most of the components from my older stereo and also all the wiring that came with my head set. Also, my DVD/VCR players were hooked up. The sound is good, and all works. It took no time to hook up everything. I would recommend this receiver to anyone. No problems thus far.
