This is definitely a nice Scrabble game. There are two trays that will hold the pieces and the game board folds in two making it easy to carry. We also loved the turn table, which made it easy to see during each players' turn.

The board is great. The tile trays are cheaply made. Not happy with the tile color either. When the light shines on the tiles on an angle, you can't see the value of the tiles; but overall satisfied with the game and the price.

Overall the anniversary edition is great to have in one's scabble collection. The folding board is convenient with drawers to hold your trays and letters. The only disadvantages that I found were that the black letters were harder to read and because the board has ridges to hold the letters in place, clearing the board is more time consuming because the letters have to be picked up individually at the end of each game.

For a much hyped anniversary item, this addition is poorly put together, of plastic almost entirely(boo!), over sized for portability. The drawers hold the pieces, barely and do not open and close as well as one would expect for the price. My friend's daughter was commissioned to buy a new Scrabble game as one we had was missing a tile. My friend was appalled when she learned it had cost almost $35 at Wal-Mart, and close to $40 after our 7% sales tax. We have played the game, but find it disappointing. Black tiles don't really suit the game and though they are wood like the original, one of the tiles already had paint chipped off, before we drew it out of the bag. Overall, this one is an overpriced downer.

Scrabble has always been fun, but this version is absolutely the best. Two great features are the raised edges of each square on the board which keeps the letters in place, and the carousel that allows the board to spin so each player can see it straight on instead of upside down. My husband and I, our daughters, and our granddaughters have played this new version and we all love it.

It is fun and convenient because the letters stayed on the board when you turned it to review the words and add more letters. We have played this game on family nights and the challenge is exciting everytime. This is a good game to build up your spelling and vocabulary skills for all ages. I will recommend this for stay-cations and family gatherings to challenge each other for a night of fun.

Well, what else can I say but, "Wow!". I absolutely love it. I've wanted this for so long. I've had it only for a couple weeks and have already played many, many games. It's everything I expected and more. I thought it was a little pricey, but the quality really is great! I love the wheels. They make the board almost float! I definitely would recommend this to any fellow scrabble-heads out there...

I bought this for my boyfriend and I for Christmas as we love to play board games. We had the old scrabble board but, I LOVE this new sunk in tile board. It folds up easily for transportation and the drawers are very helpful! Lot's of fun to be had with this - anywhere!!

This new edition of Scrabble of course is no classic Scrabble, but it's great. Being able to turn the board because it's on wheels is a great feature and not having the tiles slide around is a welcome change! Love it!

The best part about this version is the letters stay put even if someone bumps the board. Another great thing is that it is built in a case to store all the pieces. Usually you have to keep the original box for each board game. Not this one. Great investment.
