I purchased this diner for my son's 2nd birthday. I love the fact that it isn't girly, and that it has a "booth" attached. It was easy to put together, after my hubby decided to read the directions. It took us less than an hour to assemble. My son loves it, as well as my 12 year old daughter!!! The only thing that could be a downfall for someone would be that, because of the kitchen on one side and the booth on the other, you can't put it flush against the wall. If space is a huge issue, that may cause a problem.

This diner is even better than I expected it to be. A lot cuter in person, easy to assemble, ( i did it alone with 2 kids all around me the whole time, in about an hour), great accessories, they thought of everything. The little booths are so cute. It's not huge, but I didn't want a big kitchen taking up a lot of space. It's great that it's 2-sided, because you get more play area for the size. My parents got this for my 1-year-old son's b-day. I also have a 3 yr old boy. They love it and play together. I like that it's more boy-ish than most kitchens. They love the 50's music! Very Cool!! Love it!!

I recently purchased this product for my daycare and it is great! Although you had to put all the stickers on yourself and drill the screws in the plastic, it wasn't too too bad to put together. There was one thing that was alittle disappointing though; their is a bell that attaches to the diner that gives the children the option of pushing while pretending that their food is ready to eat and it requires batteries. Well, after putting in the batteries, and attaching it to the diner, you can barely, if at all, hear the bell noise anymore. I think if that small problem was fixed, this tiem would rank to be perfect. Other than that, great buy!

Got a GREAT price on Walmart.com, 1/3 lower than other sites, it was the biggest hit at my 2 year old grandaughters party...her 4year old brother loves it too, they play nice together and my daughter can't believe it! Took no more than 1/2 hour to put together. I was searching and debating about different kitchens, this was by far the most fun!

Perfect for toddlers, and more to do then with a regular play kitchen. My daughter is very restless and rarely plays with anything for long. The diner has been a real hit, and one of the few toys that has held her interest. She loves sitting at the booth as well as using the kitchen and making us "coffee." Lends itself to lots of parent-child interaction. In our case it was a better choice then a regular play kitchen. It is plastic, but it isn't that bad if you have to have it in your living room because it is quite small.

Fairly easy to put together, BUT I WOULD HAVE A DRILL! The screw spots are not pre-drilled, and you can imagine the difficulty in starting a screw into slick, hard plastic. A second person is also helpful to put pressure on the unit while the other person screws the parts together. This limits the gaps in the finished product. My baby girl loves her DINER! She likes to get into the seat, out of the seat, into the seat....and so on. The battery for the bubbling stovetop went out very fast, but the others have lasted. Great product, definately worth the money!

My son got this for Christmas and he loves it! It was very easy to put together. He sits in the diner chair all the time. Sometimes we let him eat his snack there. He doesn't really play with the kitchen side much (just turned 2), but he does play with the food. My niece and nephew love to play with it too and they are 5 and 7! I think we will get many years of fun out of this one. The only thing I'm upset about is on the very first day, he opened the oven door then stood on it for just a minute, and now it won't close - it just falls back open. So that is annoying.

This diner has been a major hit with my 2.5 year old daughter. She eats at the booth all the time. And when her friends come over to play, they eat there too. I think that's one of the best features since it can be such a struggle to eat at the table. I love that it combines a seating area with an awesome compact cooking area/ kitchen. We love the jukebox and diner bell. The accessories are great. This is a great toy. It fits in our living room without taking up too much space.

I looked at many many different "kitchens" but this one looked the most fun. It's more interactive than the other kitchens. One can cook up the food and the others can enjoy it. My son loves it! We play with it for hours! It was also very easy to put together...30 minutes max.

Santa purchased this product for our almost 2 yr old and almost 4 yr old boys for Christmas. They love it. They have the most fun with sitting in the booth and playing with the ice cream drawer, ice cream cones and pretend ice cream. I would buy this again in a heartbeat...we've already gotten our money's worth.

We purchased the diner as a Christmas present for our daughter who is 22 months. My husband put it together on Christmas Eve. This was by far her favorite gift and now almost a month later she is still playing with the diner on a daily basis. She enjoys especially sitting in the booth and sometimes eating her snacks as well as making coffee and scooping icecream. Different stuffed animals are alway having a meal at the diner. The only downfall to the assembly was that the door to the stove did not latch properly which is why I gave the overall rating a good. My husband was creative and used a nail to help the door latch. It makes it a little more diffucult to open and close the door but my daughter is still able to do this. We found the diner on sale at the Walmart Website and used ship to the store which worked great.

I purchased this play kitchen for my 2 yr old boy, I was not sure at first -what to get him. He has a 6 yr old brother and together A LOT of toys. He is somewhat calmer than my 6 yr old and would play with pots and pans from time to time. So for xmas I decided to get this kitchen -- I really love the fact that they can sit on one side and "eat" and the other side cook. My 2 yr old loves it and my 6 yr old plays with it as well. The details are really amazing -and thus far it has held up nicely. I would def. reccmd it for both boys and girls!!

My kids (both boys almost 3.5 and almost 2) got this for Christmas this year, and they love it! They both love to imitate cooking and pouring hot chocolate, etc., so they were ready for some kind of kitchen, but I didn't want something too girly either. This is perfect, especially with the seating area and pass through window. They play with it every day and "make coffee" for mom and dad at breakfast on the weekends. They put their bears in the seats as customers, too. We bought a set of play pots and pans with some utensils which really compliments the set. Something like that could have been included, I wish there was a little more storage, and the directions weren't entirely clear - just pictures - but aside from those 3 things, it works out ok. It's also not so big that it takes up an enormous amount of space. It's light enough that they can pull it out from the wall to play with both sides of it, while still being sturdy. My guys even like to eat their real snacks sitting in their diner. Great toy to spark some really imaginative play! One last thing I have to say is that I ordered this online from Walmart for literally half the price of what it sells for elsewhere, too, including the tax and shipping! It got to me standard delivery in about 3 days of my order. I was very happy.

My daughter fell in love with the "princess" kitchens that are everywhere right now. They get horrible reviews, and I have a son who's almost 2, so I wanted something less girly and more likely to last the beating my son would give it. This kitchen solved that problem perfectly! The booth was such a novel thing that she forgot all about the princesses (I bought her a tea set to cushion the blow!) and now they both can play together. I get in there & cook for them, they sit in the booth & I pass them their food just like a real diner. It's the perfect toy & for what it does, really doesn't take up too much room. My only complaint is that the doorbell isn't very loud & the oven door didn't stay shut well. I put a felt pad in the gap & it works perfectly now. I would recommend this for kids of all ages. I was concerned that the booth might be too small, but my 4 year old daughter sits in it with room to spare!
