During the installation process, some parts are cracked. They were not made of real wood or close to wood material. It is easily cracked even though it was carefully built up by my husband.

This is a great little storage unit. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I would recommend buyers take a look at the measurements and actually take the time to measure the size in real life because the picture does make this storage unit look bigger than it is. My 3 yo has lots of fun taking the bins out and bumping them on the floor. She's not able to maneuver the bins back in place. She has tried and can't seem to get them on the tracks.
Overall a good storage unit. Bins are larger than most storage units available on the market.

Don't be scared by the reviews about putting this item together and predrilled holes, etc. This was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembled (I have assembled quite a few pieces of furniture of this sort before). It took me (a girl) about 30-45 minutes (you could cut this time down with an electric screwdriver, my battery was dead so I had to go old school!). The holes are drilled through on the outside pieces and just started on the piece you are screwing into. I had absolutely no problem with this. I just lined them up and easily screwed them together with no cracking or other problems. There are grooves that make it easy to line every thing up. Also there is only one kind of screw so no trying to figure out which screw goes where!
Once put together I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It is quite sturdy and VERY cute. Many people mentioned they were dissapointed with the size, I on the other hand like it this way. My one year old daughter can easily reach all of her toys even things that are on top of it. The bins are great for storing things like play food, blocks, links, small toys (rattles, small dolls, etc) and even books and then you can put some larger stuff on top (I have play food shopping basket, larger books, alphabet caterpiller, etc). I would agree with the other reviewer that stated she glued in the plastic tracks, I haven't done this yet but I will as they are a little loose.
Overall I find this product to be of excellent quality for the price and very useful and Better than I expected.

I bought this product for my son's toys thinking that I could possibly fit all his toys in it but could not fit much, I would of liked it to be bigger and also bigger tubs, but other then that it come in handy so I will have to find something else to buy thats bigger.

This is exactly what i needed for my kids. They can put their toys away and still see what is in the bins. The toys have been played with more than before. The bins seem really tough and so far so good! I would definetly recommend this. I am not sure about the reviews about the predrilled holes, We had no problems putting this together.

Assembled fairly easy, holds a bunch of toys and it is pretty sturdy(heavy) I have 3 rough young boys and they havent tipped it over yet, I have to anker it to the wall just incase, and oddly they havent climbed on top of it or anything. One advice for those parents looking for kid proof storage, glue down the plastic guide strips for the buckets, my boys take them off to play swords with them. Solved that problem quickly.

its an awsome product that getts a bad rap u do need a drill an a drill bit to make the holes because thier is not pre drilled holes on the bottom sides an if u try to make the holes by screwing in the screws its going to crack the wood.oh an garila glue its awsome stuff i used it to reinforce all of my sons furniture in his room other than that i love it so much an my 14 month old loves the heck out of i highly recomend it .to every parent that wants thier kid to have a an awsome toy box without the bottomless pit.van the rediculus price its a great for organizing to helps your kids learn to putt stuff up .

Well, I was initially taken back by the low height and narrow width of the frame. I know the dimensions are described in the product details, but, I just expected it to be a little larger. Still good enough I guess for the small toys that have lost their homes and now reside in the middle of the bedroom floor (all the time lol). Overall, sturdy usefull but small.

It arrived in two boxes and the outside looked fine but the inside their were broken peices in both. The material is cheap and it's not built to last for very long. And the picture is v ery misleading concerning the size. It's actually very small. I'm gonna go with Ikea's version of this.

THe only thing so far i am disappointed with is the picture gives the illusion that the bins on the end where there is just 2 are wider than the others. This is not the case, they are all the same size. I have not got the rest of the unit just the bins.

The end side of the pieces did not have pre-drilled holes, but it wouldn't have mattered, as they were too narrow for the screws and cracked. The bin "tracks" fall off all the time...but it is a good size in my baby's room and easy enough for her to use.
I expect to get $100 worth of use out of it (if the cracks don't get bigger) and the bins will outlast the frame.
