I usually don't write reviews, but this one is such a poor product that I felt compelled...
The quality of the pictures this "camera" takes are a joke. My 3-year-old's pictures ALL came out blurry and dark and VERY grainy, so I tried taking some by myself in various well-lighted areas. The best it could do was worse than the cheapest cell-phone camera.
This thing is durable, but the pictures it produces are not worth saving or printing. Don't expect to print or put on the web any pictures your child takes with this thing; it is only a toy that behaves like a camera. If that is all you want for your child, you can spend a lot less money.
Also, like many other people, we found the battery life to be horrible. On average it lasted about 20-25 pictures with flash.

I purchased this camera for my 3-year-old son for Christmas. He loved playing with my camera and finally broke it so I decided after that he could get his own.

I bought this with intentions that it would take decent pictures, but it didn't. The quality of the pictures is aweful. It demonstrates on the package a nice clear, crisp picture, but it takes grainy, dark ones instead.

The only thing I like about this camera is it is child-proof. It can be dropped and not broke.

Don't waste 50 bucks on this product. If your child can do without, wait until he/she is older and buy a nicer quality one. If you're looking for something for your child to push a button and feel like he's doing something, this is it.

Don't buy this camera unless you have money to spend on batteries. We got this camera for our 4yo son for Christmas, by the end of the day the batteries were dead. We replaced the batteries and the camera was dead within 2 days. I returned the camera and got a new one. Had the same problem with the new camera. So I called Fisher Price, they took the camera back and they gave me my money back. My friend had the same problem with the camera too.

I bought this for my son and he has used it only once. He is obsessed with digital cameras and taking pictures but unfortunately, the batteries lasted about 30 minutes and the screen is so dark that you can't see what you are taking a picture of and when you do take it, it is very dark and low quality. I didn't expect perfect pictures, but I expected a lot more from this brand..

The only thing good about this camera is the durability factor. It was a gift for my grandson and will be returned for the V-tech kids camera. My great-niece rcv'd that one and the quality of the photos-awesome. I promise, you will be disappointed unless you plan to use it as a football and don't want to take pictures you can see.

I contacted Fisher Price and I am on my 3rd camera. The lady at fisher price told me that a lot of the battery connections are bad. They wanted me to pay shipping until I complained. Then I still have to purchase a box to mail it back in. I don't recommend this product. I think that for $40-55 depending on where it is purchased.... it should work a little better.... Not a luck of the draw.... whoops your battery connections don't work. I am probably spending more in gas money to return the product so many times..... then the money my MIL spent on the product. I almost do not want another camera, but my 3 yr old loves it.

Besides the battery issues on a lot of the cameras I think the product would be great for kids, but my poor son has had to deal with not having a camera since he got it from Santa.

Purchased for my 6 yr old grandson. He loves it and is very good quality. Takes good photos, easy for young children to use.

I purchased the camera for a christmas gift for my 6 year old son to take on our family vaca. The battery compartment was nearly impossible to manage and batteries ran out very very quickly. The pic on screen was ofetn distorted and had a very slow reaction time. We are very disappointed.

Got this for our son for Christmas this year. He loves to take pictures but even in the 'highest' quality setting it is hard to tell what he was taking pictures of. He also has a hard time with the picture taking button...It's pretty small and he has to use two fingers (one on top of the other) to take a picture. He's 4 1/2 so I didn't think this would be an issue. It is durable for sure and takes a beating rather well. I didn't have incredibly high expectations but I was hoping it would take as good if not better pictures than my phone but it doesn't!
