It's not what I expected but not disappointed either. They will work nicely for short travels only-do not use for oversea travel. Seems to be worth the price definitely. It opens like a backpack, they do not lay down like a normal suitcase to fill. It does have ties and such inside to help with shifting. The color is a dark teal--not light as in the picture. I did not see another color close to this so extremely easy to find on carosel (sp?). Has clips that lock over zippers for extra support and they are extremely light so you can pack more without going over limits!!!!

This is a good quality set for a good price, but only will handle domestic trips as I used the large piece for an international trip and I received it totally wrecked out, and couldn't use it on the return trip. The set looks very nice. I love its design and color, and it's features match it's price.

I ordered this because I'm going to Florida with my 3 year old son and my 72 year old mother. I'm packing my clothes and my son's clothes in the same bag and wanted something large, but light weight. As the other reviewers said, the color is darker than it is in the picture. Also, the zipper opens from the top, sort of like a book bag, it doesn't open like a regular suitcase where you flip the top open and lay it down on a bed. The wheels are not the 360 kind that are easier to move through the airport, and I was a bit disapointed by this. It does look big enough to carry my clothes and my son's clothes for 5 days in Florida, but I pack very light, and I'm only planning on being on the beach most of the time in a suit and shorts. I didn't like the way the bag opens from the top, book bag style, not like a suitcase. I'm worried that all our clothes will sink to the bottom when I roll it around. I do like that it's very lightweight, I like the color, and it comes with a carry on and a smaller suitcase, that I can use when my son gets older. It was the right price for three bags.

I was looking for a piece of luggage for my son whose bag busted on the way to Texas. This set was right on time and provided enough spacing for repacking to return home. He also had enough pieces to bring back several boxes of my favorite cereal. Great product and very versatile. I was worried about the color for boys, but it is darker than it appears and definitely unisex and identifiable at the airport.
